A show feed for baby pigs as a creep feed and first stage ration to be fed from 20-75 pounds of body weight.

For control of swine dysentery (vibrionic dysentery, bloody scours or hemorrhagic dysentery); control of bacterial swine enteritis (salmonellosis or necrosis enteritis caused by Salmonella cholerasuis). Aid in the prevention of migration and establishment of large roundworm (Ascaris suum) infections and aid in the prevention of establishment of nodular worm (Oesophagostomum) infections..

Feed as the sole starter diet from 20- 75 pounds of body weight. Always provide animals with an unlimited supply of fresh, clean water.

WARNING: Do not feed to swine weighing more than 75 lb. bodyweight. Do not feed to swine within 10 weeks of slaughter. Do not use in complete feeds containing less than 15% crude protein. This product contains high levels of cooper; do not feed to sheep.

CAUTION: Consult veterinarian before feeding to severely debilitated animals. Do not use in feeds containing bentonite. Feed continuously as the sole ration.

Surefed Starter Pig Management Tips

1.   Start newly weaned pigs in a warm, dry and draft free environment that provides consistent temperature and humidity in the nursery.

2.   Feed between 3 to9 pounds of Surefed Prestarter Baby Pig Feed approximately one week prior to weaning as a creep feed until the entire litter weighs approximately 20 pounds of body weight.

3.   Provide clean, fresh and cool water at all times; preferably with nipple waters.

4.   Transition to Surefed Starter program at 20 pounds of body weight until they reach 75 pounds of body weight.

5.   Provide either clean wire flooring or clean wood chip nursery that is dry and draft free with constant temperature at approximately 80 degree’s.

6.   Surefed Starter  is highly palatable to encourage feed intake at a  young age.

7.   Surefed Starter contains plasma proteins. Lactose and milk products at high levels needed by young pigs immediately post weaning.
