sThis product is a high quality complete lactation feed for today’s high producing sows.

  Surefed Lactation contains high levels of vitamin, mineral levels with an amino acid balanced diet for optimum levels of added fat to make this a performance based ration to maintain sows/ gilts in desired body condition and maximum milk production.

Control of leptospirosis (reducing the incidence of abortion and shedding of Leptospirae) caused by Leptospira pomona susceptible to chlortetracycline.

Ten days prior to farrowing begin transitioning from Surefed Gestation ration to Surefed Lactation ration at a rate of approximately 6 pounds/ head/ day. Surefed Lactation diet should be gradually increased to an ad-lib basis to all sows nursing pigs by the third day following her farrow date. Sow intake will vary based upon the number of piglets, external temperature, genetics, parity and other management variables.

All lactating sows should be fed at least twice per day.

A laxative product may be top dressed as needed for desired stool consistency and body weight at farrowing. Always provide animals with an unlimited supply of fresh, clean water.

WARNING: This product contains high levels of cooper; do not feed to sheep.

WARNING: Withdrawal times vary by manufacturer. Read label for specific withdrawal time.

LIMITATIONS FOR USE: Feed continuously for not more than 14 days. Feed approximately 400 g/ton, varying with body weight and feed consumption to provide 10 mg/lb. of body weight per day.
