Ten days prior to farrowing begin transitioning
from Surefed Gestation ration to Surefed Lactation ration at a rate of
approximately 6 pounds/ head/ day. Surefed Lactation diet should be
gradually increased to an ad-lib basis to all sows nursing pigs by the third
day following her farrow date. Sow intake will vary based upon the number of
piglets, external temperature, genetics, parity and other management
variables.
All lactating sows should be fed at least
twice per day.
A laxative product may be top dressed as
needed for desired stool consistency and body weight at farrowing. Always
provide animals with an unlimited supply of fresh, clean water.

LIMITATIONS FOR USE: Feed continuously for not more than 14 days.
